Finally, spring break. I wonder what I'm gonna do this break. Last week of the quarter. There was the track meet. Great job Ilima! Placed first place out of all schools! We all did good. Then again, there was a problem that happened. When someone said something that wasn't true, and put a whole new meaning into it. It's not good to make up stories. Oh well. This week we had graudation picture taking. I missed period 5 for the whole week! Atleast I turned in the work that was assigned on time, so I get a grade for it. It is not the right time to be getting into a problem, or to be getting in trouble with something dumb we did. Not the right time at all! We had big things coming up, and we don't need problems to be our barriers. Track was busy this week. We all focused on what we had to do. Practices we did our best, but didn't give 100%. We had to save it for the meet! I messed up on my race (x I got excited from all the chewy energy things I ate. Then I sprinted at the start of the 800, but after the first lap I tired out and started to just run. Then two girls passed me, and I placed 3rd. I shouldn't have sprinted that first time ;pp. But oh well, at least I placed! Then I came home to my dad being in the emergency room. He feel off his bike trying to save his latte xD My amazing dad (x
The highlight of my week would have to be the track meet. It was fun, and a good experience. I enjoyed watching everyone's races. It was all between Ewa Makai and Ilima. I think that was the whole competition, to not have Ewa Makai win again. I would always cheer for the other schools if Ewa Makai was winning (x We all did good anyway. But what was weird is how the Waipahu coach said himself that Waipahu isn't going to win. Lol, I didn't expect that. Ilima took home the win! But the track meet was really fun. Another highlight is when we had that meeting. Sheila's reactions though xD That was really fun. She was so scared! Lol ily Sheila xD !
The lesson I learned this week is the same one I learned from quarter 3. Truth and honesty. But another lesson I learned is for track too xD To not get excited, and sprint the first lap of the race (x I got too excited from the energy chewy things I ate, and just sprinted. Well I shouldn't have, but that's okay I guess (x I'll get it next time xD But the other lesson again, honesty. Honesty is the best policy. No time for made up stories. No time for lies. We don't need that in leadership. We don't need lies anywhere. Sometimes people believe their own lies. Be honest with yourself, and everyone else. There is no need to lie about something or anything. We don't need made up stories. Be honest, and let the truth out.
