Hii ! I hope you had a great week. Well this week was okay. I mean period 2 got into a little something, but I think its fixed now.....well monday. Monday I workes ID's cus it's my job for the week obviously. And track that day. We did some conditioning. Pretty tiring, but it wasn't as bad as the first day of track. I was dying. Tuesday, same thing. Well instead I passed out class day forms. Also track, same thing. Conditioning still wasn't as bad as the first day of track. Also jah slept over since there was no school the next day. We were supposed to work on homework but instead we started watching scary movies and eating candy. We still got our homework done though!! Thursday. I dissected a frog and we didn't even complete our experiment. The one who chose the frog chose the hardest one to dissect!! And couldn't even cut it open. We didn't finish it. I didnt run at track that day either. I didn't have anymore pants I could run in. Friday. Friday we focused on the dancing for orientation. I really like reflection. Track that day, only a small amount of people came. We did sprints in relay form. Not that bad, not that tiring. This whole week orientation practice was going on. I actually like orientation though. Orientation is pretty fun in my opinion.
The highlight of my week would have to be when jah slept over. It was funny xD we found this weird game thats actually kind of fun! It's really really weird. Even the name is weird. We kept tweaking on it. We were barely even doing our science homework!! It's weird how it's addicting. I think it could take flappy birds place. Sooner or later the game is gonna get popular, that's what I think. Another highlight would be track. I actually like track, gives me something to do afterschool besides stay home since softball isn't everyday. I enjoy watching sheila run. I actually do (x. Not in a mean way or anything though. I like how she puts a lot of effort and keeps trying. She's gonna have to get used to it(x. Haha I love sheila. She's so funny. After he first day of track she said "this is worse then chasing my neighbors dog!" I couldn't stop laughing xD. I was like dead. But the lowlight of the week would have to be almost getting kicked out of orientation. During period 2 we weren't really getting done what was supposed to be done for orientation. We need to prioritze what we need to do. Things for orientation come first. So this is something important that happened this week. Since this is a big event coming up, everything we do is for the 6th graders.
The lesson I learned is that we need to live up to our priorities. We joined leadership for a reason. If we can't live up to the priorities of leadership what's the point of joining? We need to focus ln what's important. Nothing else could be going on that's more important than orientation right now. I'm sure we would all want to be outside during lunch. But having fun isn't as important as the 6th graders at the moment. We can't just drop everything just to have fun. Orientation is almost here, and we don't need problems. Even little problems. We can't make mistakes now. It's not the right time to. The 6th graders are out main priority. Orientation I coming up really fast, and we can't mess anything up. Live up to your priorities. Leadership is one. Live up to it. Nothing else could be more important than it is right now.
