First week back

Hii !  I hope you had a great week.  Well this week was okay.  I mean period 2 got into a little something, but I think its fixed now.....well monday.  Monday I workes ID's cus it's my job for the week obviously.  And track that day.  We did some conditioning.  Pretty tiring, but it wasn't as bad as the first day of track.  I was dying.  Tuesday, same thing.  Well instead I passed out class day forms.  Also track, same thing.  Conditioning still wasn't as bad as the first day of track.  Also jah slept over since there was no school the next day.  We were supposed to work on homework but instead we started watching scary movies and eating candy.  We still got our homework done though!!  Thursday.  I dissected a frog and we didn't even complete our experiment.  The one who chose the frog chose the hardest one to dissect!!  And couldn't even cut it open.  We didn't finish it.  I didnt run at track that day either.  I didn't have anymore pants I could run in.  Friday.  Friday we focused on the dancing for orientation.  I really like reflection.  Track that day, only a small amount of people came.  We did sprints in relay form.  Not that bad, not that tiring.  This whole week orientation practice was going on.  I actually like orientation though.  Orientation is pretty fun in my opinion.
The highlight of my week would have to be when jah slept over.  It was funny xD we found this weird game thats actually kind of fun!  It's really really weird.  Even the name is weird.  We kept tweaking on it.  We were barely even doing our science homework!!  It's weird how it's addicting.  I think it could take flappy birds place.  Sooner or later the game is gonna get popular,  that's what I think.  Another highlight would be track.  I actually like track, gives me something to do afterschool besides stay home since softball isn't everyday.  I enjoy watching sheila run.  I actually do (x. Not in a mean way or anything though.  I like how she puts a lot of effort and keeps trying.  She's gonna have to get used to it(x. Haha I love sheila.  She's so funny.  After he first day of track she said "this is worse then chasing my neighbors dog!"  I couldn't stop laughing xD. I was like dead.  But the lowlight of the week would have to be almost getting kicked out of orientation.  During period 2 we weren't really getting done what was supposed to be done for orientation.   We need to prioritze what we need to do.  Things for orientation come first.  So this is something important that happened this week.  Since this is a big event coming up, everything we do is for the 6th graders.
The lesson I learned is that we need to live up to our priorities.  We joined leadership for a reason.  If we can't live up to the priorities of leadership what's the point of joining?  We need to focus ln what's important.  Nothing else could be going on that's more important than orientation right now.  I'm sure we would all want to be outside during lunch.  But having fun isn't as important as the 6th graders at the moment.  We can't just drop everything just to have fun.  Orientation is almost here, and we don't need problems.  Even little problems.  We can't make mistakes now.  It's not the right time to.  The 6th graders are out main priority.   Orientation I coming up really fast, and we can't mess anything up.  Live up to your priorities.  Leadership is one.  Live up to it.  Nothing else could be more important than it is right now.

Last week of school!

Finally, spring break.  I wonder what I'm gonna do this break.  Last week of the quarter.  There was the track meet.  Great job Ilima!  Placed first place out of all schools!  We all did good.  Then again, there was a problem that happened.  When someone said something that wasn't true, and put a whole new meaning into it.  It's not good to make up stories.  Oh well.  This week we had graudation picture taking.  I missed period 5 for the whole week!  Atleast I turned in the work that was assigned on time, so I get a grade for it.  It is not the right time to be getting into a problem, or to be getting in trouble with something dumb we did.  Not the right time at all!  We had big things coming up, and we don't need problems to be our barriers.  Track was busy this week.  We all focused on what we had to do.  Practices we did our best, but didn't give 100%.  We had to save it for the meet!  I messed up on my race (x  I got excited from all the chewy energy things I ate.  Then I sprinted at the start of the 800, but after the first lap I tired out and started to just run.  Then two girls passed me, and I placed 3rd.  I shouldn't have sprinted that first time ;pp.  But oh well, at least I placed!  Then I came home to my dad being in the emergency room.  He feel off his bike trying to save his latte xD  My amazing dad (x

The highlight of my week would have to be the track meet.  It was fun, and a good experience.  I enjoyed watching everyone's races.  It was all between Ewa Makai and Ilima.  I think that was the whole competition, to not have Ewa Makai win again.  I would always cheer for the other schools if Ewa Makai was winning (x  We all did good anyway.  But what was weird is how the Waipahu coach said himself that Waipahu isn't going to win.  Lol, I didn't expect that.  Ilima took home the win!  But the track meet was really fun.  Another highlight is when we had that meeting.  Sheila's reactions though xD  That was really fun.  She was so scared!  Lol ily Sheila xD !

The lesson I learned this week is the same one I learned from quarter 3.  Truth and honesty.  But another lesson I learned is for track too xD  To not get excited, and sprint the first lap of the race (x  I got too excited from the energy chewy things I ate, and just sprinted.  Well I shouldn't have, but that's okay I guess (x  I'll get it next time xD  But the other lesson again, honesty.  Honesty is the best policy.  No time for made up stories.  No time for lies.  We don't need that in leadership.  We don't need lies anywhere.  Sometimes people believe their own lies.  Be honest with yourself, and everyone else.  There is no need to lie about something or anything.  We don't need made up stories.  Be honest, and let the truth out.

3rd quarter blog (:

Hello!!!  Well it's almost the end of the quarter, which means we're way closer to orientation and graduation.  Better be prepared!  Well this quarter was busy.  Orientation prep, spirit week, the problm between period 2, and graduation picture taking.  Can't forget track!!  This quarter was harder, especially with AR and the weekly goals.  Stressful.  But we all got through it!!  We did banners and speeches.  Spirit week was very hectic.  Getting to school on time, not too early or late.  Setting up everyday.  Keeping track of chain link.  But penny wars was very crazy and people went all our.  Cheer off was fun too!!  I think that was the most busiest point of the quarter.  We recently just had graudation picture taking.  It went pretty smooth.  Dressing had no problems.  Nothing really went wrong.  With both spirit week and graudation picture taking.  But some banners aren't quite done yet.  We have time to get everything ready!  Orientation is almost up, and we need everything to be ready and good for the 6th graders.  Track was great this quarter.  At first I was thinking I must be crazy for joining!  But then I ended up liking it.  At some points I had thoughts about quiting, but nawh.  The meet was really fun!  I started off too fast, a 800m sprinter (x  But atleast I placed in 3rd.  Better then not placing at all!!  The mile was the struggle though.  I got 12th place, since I was still pretty tired from the 800m.  Long jump was pretty good, even though I didn't make the top three.  But that's okay, atleast I tried.  It was a good experience, and I can't wait til the next meet!  But toward the end of this quarter someone sort of got themself in a problem.  Then we had two meetings about it.  Well, this should be solved quick before 4th quarter comes!  Third quarter was very busy, but I'm ready for 4th quarter!

The highlight of this quarter was definitely the track meet.  I had fun there.  The races were great.  I was glad Ilima could take home the win and beat Ewa Makais streak!  Good job to everyone because we all did great!  It was a great experience to be there.  I liked running the 2 races I was in.  I'll get better by the next track meet!  I liked how we all screamed when we found out Ilima won!  Haha it was funny.  We had our 20 seconds of glory (x  Track was really fun this quarter.  I seriously can't wait til the next meet.  But I'm gonna need a lot more practice before the meet!  But a lowlight in this quarter is when period two got into the problem.  But luckily we all got out of it.  We weren't being responsible at the time.  The truth is the best policy!  We were being selfish and irresponsible.  But atleast we all learned from it and won't make the same mistake again!

The lesson I learned this quarter is honesty.  We should all tell the truth so we don't need to make up stories.  Why would we even make up stories.  That would just make up look bad.  Like what recently happened and what the meeting was all about.  We all need to be telling the truth.  That way, there would be no problems and everything would be going smoothly.  We all need to be honest with ourselves.  We don't need lies.  Not everyone tells the truth.  Then drama happens.  We don't need liars or drama.  That just makes everything worse, and makes things hard to function.  Liars aren't needed!  Honesty is always the best policy.  No need for lies, or stories made up.  That's just not right.

Spirit week blog (:

Summary of the week.  Well, monday was sports day.  I dressed out in my softball uniform.  Tuesday was inside out.  Which I wore my clothes inside out, it was really uncomfortable.  Wednesday was aloha day.  I wore slippers, a lei, and a I♡Hawaii shirt.  I looked like a tourist (x. Thursdah was military day.  I wore combat boots, navy sweater, and my military ID.  Friday lastly was team color day and cheer off, and relay race.  I wore black, for team 4.  We won cheer off, and 8th grade won for relay race for team 4.  We placed second!  Pretty good for a small team.  The highlight of the week was pretty much cheer off.  I had a good time, and it was really fun.   Even though I didn't know what I was doing half the time(x. It was still fun and good watching the other teams cheer.  Pretty good.  Our team looked like a funeral.  The lowlight would have to be aloha day honestly.  Since some people didn't dress out very well.  Didn't follow direction.   It's like they're not putting much effort into it, which we're supposed to be giving 110% of our effort.  So that was a lowlight, because some people just dressed out to get it done.  I think a new activity we should add is something where each team challenges to see who could find one item hinden on campus.  Something like a scavenger hunt, but its only one special thing.  And whoever finds it wins something for their team.  I dont really know what to call it.  They find one item, that is hard to find and riddles are given to where its hidden.  Sort of like a scavenger hunt, but harder and with riddles.  One thing I would take out is sports day, because thats too common in spirit weeks.  I would add something like animal day, where we dress up like an animal.  Cus there wasn't a spirit week in holomua that had this category.  So I would take iut sports day, because it's too common and add animal day.  My overall experience is that it was really busy and hectic.  I never been so rushed and busy like this before.  I didn't expect penny wars to be this crazy, and people to be aggressive about it.  Putting in over $100 in cash, thats pretty crazy.  I wouldn't even do that(x. To much money which I could spend on food or clothes.   But it's all going to a good cause, so that's good.  But what I think should be done differently is the way we set up.  I think that sometimes we get off task, and get slow at setting up.  So that should change.  Also cleaning up.   If we keep getting off task like that,  not much would get done and we would be way too slow doing things.   So we need to be more urgent with things.  This is something that should be done differently next time.

Spirit week !!

Hi guys!  Well this was a really busy week.  Starting off with sunday.  Sunday was a really rainy day, but me and my friends walked to buy shave ice (x. Straight sweg.  On the way there, it was drizzling.   Then when we finished and went back home it was raining pretty hard, but it was still fun!!  I didn't mind getting dirty.  Monday.  First say of spirit week!!  I got to school really early cus my mom didn't want me to take the bus.  So I got there around 6 and I was the first one there.  But I waited, and others came.  It was sports day, and not much people dressed out.  Tuesday, inside out day.  I took the bus with alesia that day.  Again not much people dressed out.  Wednesday, aloha day.  I took the bus again.  I wore slippers, which I hated cus my feet were cold.  Thursday, kevin missed the bus with me and alesia (x. But military day which was my favorite.  Forgot to mention track, which was everyday but sunday obviously (x. I was running the mile.  Thursday is almlst coming!!  Friday, my interview day.  It was pouring !  Softball and track was canceled.  But not my interview!!  I was pretty nervous cus my talent was being done live.  I messed up a couple times.  But that's okat I guess.  I'm petrieseinator,  the invincible!  Well the interview wasn't as scary as the others mentioned it was.  But my second talent was changed.  Unexpectedly.   But I was pretty happy cus my second talent was junk.  Also cheer off.  I didn't think my team would place honestly.  I can't believe we got 2nd place!!  Good job to all the other teams though.  I didn't even know our teams cheer (x
The highlight of my week would have to be the interview.  It was pretty interesting to me.  The questions especially.  Some were about my siblings, and rhen there was one if I tweeted a lot.  I dont tweet that much!  But the interview was different from the first on I had, as a sixth grader.  Hopefull I get in.  This one was pretty interesting.  I wonder how the other applicants did too.  Well I think we all did a good job and tried our best on friday!!  All we need is confidence, which is something I think I had that day.  I wasn't really scared,  more nervous cus of my talent.  I had confidence in myself.  Another highlight is cheer off.  I had a lot of fun, even tho I didn't even know what I was doing the whole time.  I just kept laughing, but I looked really lost.  I really liked 8-2 and 8-1's cheers.
The lesson I learned is to always have cconfidence in yourself.  Well for the interview I wasn't really scared like how I was last year.  I had cold feet and I kept shaking.  But I had confidence which is good.  the interview wasn't so scary cus I was confident.  Last year, I kept doubting myself and saying I was going to mess up the whole time.  But on friday I tried not to be negative on myself.  I always looked up and knew that I could do it.  So confidence is always best.  Thinking about the positives and not the negatives.  That way, you won't mess up.
