Slacking

heeey, so something was obviously wrong with this week since my title is "slacking."  Wel this week we were sort of tested.  I honestly have to say us group leaders haven't been putting our best effort into teaching the newbies.  Well thats going to change, cus schedule pick up is almost here and we CANNOT be slacking on that day.  Well starting off with monday.  I think all we did was make banners.  Banner for schedule pick up.  The group i was in did the 7th grade schedule one and lunch payment.  didn't take us too long since our groups devices weren't out unless we were taking pictures.  Also that day we were planning to go on a picnic which was invite only.  but plans changed, so instead we just went to hopes house and swam in her pool(x  was a good bonding day.  Me, Kaylyn, Jah, Julia, Hope, and Naya went.  Tuesday group leaders were sort of tested.  the new ones went in stations about the new things us group leaders have been teaching them like music and intros and such.  Honestly i dont think we have been doing our best job so i was really worried.  it actually wasnt as bad as i thought but we needed to work on intros the most.  So thats that.  Also that day we went to hopes pool again.  this time more people came, that we werent planning on inviting.  I think that day wouldve been better if some people minded their own business and kept track of what they were involved in.  But oh wells.  Then me, naya, and jah slept over Julias house.  We had a pretty brutal pillow fight (x  then wednesday.  Last workday for the week.  All we did was music and intros.  This pretty much sums up this leadership week.

The highlight of my week would be wednesday when we did music.  I kept playing old songs like "Hey Jude by The Beatles" and "My Sharona by The Knack."  The people cleaning the buildings were singing along which made me crack up(x  some people in my group thought the songs were weird, but i didnt care xD  i actually liked doing music though.  it was fun and this time the new ones set everything up and put everything away.  so they learned how to do it themselves.  the lowlight would have to be tuesday.  when we were being tested by how well the new ones did.  i was so worried, the intros station was the worst one.  I think almost no one burned and completed a full intro.  so that got me worried  and honestly i should have taught them better.  made sure everyone was paying attention.  atleast now they understand better and im positive they will do better the next time they make an intro.

They lesson i learned is i need to be more straight up with people.  some people are too difficult to work with, and i just need to be more forward.  i am tired of being nice and taking it easy on some people.  sometimes i think im too nice to people who dont deserve it.  so the lesson i learned is to be more straight forward.  i hate having to be so nice to people who dont even act the same towards me.  it annoys me so much.  some people need to stay out of something that doesnt involve them and just suck it up.  if you want to be involved well too bad.  i need to be more up front with people who deserve it most.  since usually i bee too nice to some when they dont deserve it at all.
