Another great week(:

This week was great!  But I didn't like how we could have dressed out but I didn't have enough Ilima bucks ):.  Yay finally a three day weekend!  This week was just another regular week of school.  I got to hang out with new people, other than the usual.  Dance practice went well.  Learning the dance was pretty easy, and getting to know the people in dance was fun!  I can't wait til the next dance practice because it was really fun.  Also I got a piggy back ride from Roxi.  I felt tall when I was riding on her back!  Silly me(x.  Another thing that I liked is when me and Daisy were hitting each other with the vests!  It was funny.  But I'm really scared for the flag football game on Tuesday when the leadership students challenge each other.  I really don't want to lose.  Especially because I'm not as athletic as others.  Well, this week was just another normal week of school.

My highlight of the week was when I went to Burger King with new people.  It was fun, and I was really hungry at the time.  Also the other time I went to Burger King and went coning!  The lady's face though!  It was so funny, but my hand was really sticky after.  It may seem like a waste of money, but I still ate it(x.  I just scrapped off the top of the ice cream and ate the part I didn't touch.  The lady was so surprised and shocked.  It was really funny because of her expressions and when she was talking, because of her Filipino accent.  I couldn't stop laughing!  I would go coning again, if I had the money and I don't was m hand to be sticky again!  It was weird, yet funny!  You just had to be there and see everyone's reaction!  This was the highlight of my week and it was really funny yet pretty weird.

The lesson I learned is to be more organized.  During binder check in avid and leadership, I saw some people's binders weren't that organized.  Also not to procrastinate.  If you aren't organized, it won't just affect you it affects everyone else.  If you get a bad grade, it will affect you and your group.  You get a D or F your on probation and you can't work.  You procrastinate you get a bad grade, you get a bad grade you can't work and your on probation.  The longer your on probation the lower your grade gets, and your group's grades go down as well.  So always stay organized and try your best on any work you get, like homework and classwork.  Do your best and keep up or else it will affect you.

Third week of school (:

This week was pretty fun.  With the leadership reunion of course.  It was so funny xD.  This week, was a good week I guess.  We had open house, and the reunion like I said earlier.  It was really funny when the sophomores were sharing their ticket (x.  I can't even explain why it was so funny.  It was weird that only one of my sisters were there, but the other wasn't invited even though she was in leadership too.  Must be really sad for her.  Well, this week started and ended well.  Picture taking went good too.  It was really funny when we were making paper airplanes and boats and such (x.  I still can't believe it takes Cheana 10 minutes to make one paper plane!  LOL.  This week was enjoyable and it went really well.

My highlight of the week would have to be the reunion.  It was really fun and funny.  Those sandwiches were so good *-*.  I still want more of it!  Well anyway, I laughed so hard during the reunion.  Especially when we were taking pictures!  Asian persuasion xD.  My sister Rhea was doing the weirdest poses though.  Her face though (x.  Just kidding, but she was acting really funny.  Like I said earlier, I liked when they were sharing their ticket, and their leadership moment.  My favorite is when they tricked a girl that she had a son!  I was cracking up so hard.  It really was pretty sad how they're leaving high school soon, and how long it's been since they were in leadership.  Well, the reunion was really fun and memorable.

The lesson I learned is that if you don't confess anything or what's wrong, it'll just get worse.  If you don't like what someone says to you or how they act, be straight up and tell that person what they're doing wrong.  If you don't it will just get worse and that person would just keep doing what they're doing.  Things would just go bad.  I know both you and I wouldn't like to be in that position.  If a person keeps telling you things you don't like, just be honest and talk to them. Tell them what's wrong.  You can't keep all your feelings inside.  I know it really hurts.  So you have to be honest with yourself and that person and tell them what's wrong, or else nothing will get better.

Important Lessons

Lesson #1:  Mr.Ing read this to us to teach us that we should to get know other even though they might have nothing to do in out life.  It's important to meet other people.  Also, leadership works with a lot of people on campus.  For example the janitor, you might have to communicate with the janitor, but it would be better if you met him or her in the past.  What does this have to do with leadership?  We have to learn to get used to meeting new people.  Since leadership works with a lot of people around campus, we should meet people around school even though they might had nothing to do in your past life.  So it's good to respect and meet people around school because in leadership you never know if you might have to cooperate with them in the future.  The lesson I learned is to meet more people around school because you never know who never know who you might work with next.  Like you might have to work the the security, or even the lunch lady.  It's good to know people around campus because as I said before, you don't know who you'll work with next.

Lesson #2:  Mr.Ing read us lesson #2 because he wants us to learn that we have to treat everyone with respect no matter what skin color.  It doesn't matter about race, we should all show respect to everyone.  We should all treat each other with equality.  What does this have to do with leadership?  Leadership students associate with all kinds of people.  Blacks and whites.  We have to treat them with respect.  Especially because leadership helps everyone, whether we like it or not.  So we have to show respect to everyone no matter what race.  The lesson I learned is not to judge on what race a person is.  Black or white, it doesn't matter because everyone is human.  Everyone should and deserves to be treated good and with respect because it shouldn't and doesn't matter about skin color.

Lesson #3:  Mr.Ing read us lesson #3 because he wants us to learn that it's better to give than receive.  The boy would have gotten the 50 cents ice cream, but he wanted to have enough to leave a tip.  I think that people back then usually didn't leave a tip, so that's probably why the waitress cried.  So, it's better to give than receive.  It always is.  What does this have to do with leadership?  In leadership, we give a lot.  We don't receive much from the people we help, but we do give a lot.  We help students, teachers, parents, etc etc.  Even though we don't get anything back in return, it always is better to give that receive.  Especially in leadership because we help everyone.  The lesson I learned, I basically just explained it.  Like I Said before, It's better to give than receive.  What I'm trying to say is that it's good to help and give to others.

Lesson #4:  Why did Mr.Ing read this to us?  He read this to us to teach us that with every good deed you do, something good will happen back to you.  Probably not right away, but something good will happen to you.  It's just good karma.  The man moved the boulder out of his way, and he received gold coins in return.  What does this have to do with leadership?  In leadership, you have to do good things.  Like the peasant did in the story.  You might not receive something good in return, but you will eventually.  Like if you give you respect to someone, they'll give respect to you in return.  The peasant moved the boulder, and he received gold coins in return.  Lesson Learned.  The lesson I learned is to do good things.  If you do, you won't receive things right away, but something good would probably happen in the future.  So it's good to help others, and to do good things.

Lesson #5:  Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us?  He read this lesson to us so we learn that sometimes we have to sacrifice for others.  The boy sacrificed his life for his sister.  Sacrificing helps others, like it helped the sister who had a bad disease.  What does this have to do with leadership?  In leadership, we sacrifice a lot.  Like our time.  We don't have a lot of time with friends because we sacrifice it to work for leadership.  We need to help others in leadership, other than partying or having fun with our friends.  This is what it has to do with leadership.  Lesson learned.  The lesson I learned, well I just said it up there ^^^.  Sometimes you need to sacrifice.  Again, sacrificing means you're helping others.  Like the little brother helped his sisters.  It's basically an opportunity cost.  While you lose something, you or someone else is gaining something back.  While you lose time with your friends, someone is gaining your help while you're at leadership.  So the lesson I learned is to sacrifice for others.

Second Week (;

Second week of school, it was really fun!  Scary, but fun!  It was the elections.  I was running for president.  Also, I met more and more people.  Also bonded more with period 2.  Now I actually kind of like school.  Beside the lame tests, I had some good time and laughs this week.  I got closer to more people.  We got our collared shirts this week!  Those look so much better the regular yellow t-shirts.  I've been waiting forever for the collars to come in.  I can't wait to use it.  We took our star test, and I got an average amount of points.  I did pretty good.  I also can't believe I won and I'm now president!

My highlight of the week would have to be when we got our collars.  I was waiting a long time for those to come in.  I really wanted one just like the group leaders and my sister's collared shirts.  Another highlight of the week is running and campaigning for president.  I actually kind of liked hanging up and making posters.  Also, the fact that I won!  I was so surprised, and can't believe that I'm actually the president like I always wanted to be.  This was a major highlight of my week.

The lesson I learned is that I should talk louder and be more outgoing.  While sharing our bio cubes, we had to go on the stage in the cafe and share our cube.  It was hard because the while I was on stage, everyone else was on the opposite side of the cafe, and I was pretty shy.  So I have to talk louder and clear next time.  Also, being more outgoing and fun helps you make more friends.  That's how I made a lot more friends.  So it's good to be loud and outgoing, because while doing that you brighten up someone's day.(:

Voices.  With my friends I talk calm and not too loud.  That's the perfect volume to be talking when the person is right in front of you.  But when someone is 50 feet away from you, that's when you speak louder, but still clear.  You don't have to yell, but just speak loud and clear enough for the other person to understand you.  On the stage in the cafe and outside, I have to speak loud and clear enough for Mr.Ing and the rest of the student to hear me.  But I think it's better not to yell, because yelling would disturb other people.

First week of school (:

Well, where do I begin.  This week was my first day at intermediate and at Ilima.  I was really nervous and scared that I would get lost and totally not get the system, but I though wrong.  My first day was pretty good, but I wish I was in a different team.  I felt really scared on Wednesday because I thought the 8th graders wouldn't like me .-.  Well, it didn't really matter.  But after school sales went good.  This week was full of friends and strangers, but it was pretty good!  I enjoyed everyday coming to school this week.  But I did feel weird while looking at the other couples (x forever alone.  It was fun going under people while they were holding hands though!  Anyway, this first week has been a little weird, but it ended well!

My highlight of the week would have to be when I met new friends in my grade.  Everyone was really nice and treated me good.  I wasn't very shy, I just went up to random people and introduced myself.  Then in seconds I made a new friend xD.  Pretty weird, but hey at least I made some friends!  I liked meeting new people because I didn't want to stay with the same people for two years, not saying this in a bad way or anything.  I was also lucky enough that I got to meet at least some people in another team this week. But I really want to meet more people in other teams.

The lesson I learned is that I should just be my weird self around others.  If I'm shy and quiet as a mouse, I would meet exactly no one.  I need to be outgoing, and just be me.  That way, people would know me better and I would have more friends knowing and remembering me by the way I act.  Luckily I met a lo of new people this past week.  I met new people, new friends, and got to know the teachers more.  Always be yourself, because there's nothing wrong with doing it.  Be weird, be funny, be girly, be whoever you are.  So I should always be myself, even in front of a total stranger.

This Week's Adventure

This week, we wrapped up schedule pick up and went on a reward field trip to the beach.  It was really fun.  Also, Hawaii news now came and wanted some student from leadership to interview!!!  It sucks I didn't get to be 1 out of the three but at least some of my friends got to be.  The beach was great, but I ended up looking red.  The fact that I almost drowned and couldn't touch the ground really scared me in the water.  But the day ended up well.  What really sucked is that I forgot my floaty and everyone had to share just one.  Yesterday was actually the beast day at the beach though!

My highlight of the week would have to be when me, Alesia, and Jayde buried Cheana in the sand.  It was funny because when she got up she looked to white and covered in sand xD.  I really enjoyed bonding with ever as well.  But this part of the day was fun and really hilarious because it was funny when we buried Cheana because of the things we sculpted on her (x.  She looked like the creepy guy from Lord of the Rings.

The lesson I learned is that you should at least try to talk to others even though you're really shy.  I gave it a try and started talking to people and now I'm closer to most of the people in leadership.  I'm glad that I talked to more people, because if I didn't I'd be the shyest person in my period.  I wouldn't get to know more people than before.  So it's good to talk to people, even if they're total strangers and you haven't made contact at all.  Just as long as it isn't a kidnapper or what so ever.
